Vehicles
A principal and children rarely keep the same timetable. Two cars are assigned when required.
Mercedes V-Class or Range Rover for the household; Maybach or S-Class for the principal. Child seats are specified in the opening message. Multi-day hire retains the same chauffeurs.
Ladies’ chauffeur is available on request. Language in the vehicle — English, Arabic, Turkish or Russian — is assigned, not assumed.
Residence
Four Seasons, Hilton Port Baku, Fairmont Flame Towers and JW Marriott Absheron are suitable hotels. They remain public buildings. A staffed house on the Absheron peninsula, or a gated city residence, allows control of hours, prayer space, catering and access.
GYD VIP reception avoids the public baggage hall. Night arrivals from the Gulf are ordinary hours for this desk.
Azerbaijan is Muslim-majority and secular. Traditional cookery is lamb, beef and chicken. Alcohol is legal and widely served in hotels and on the Boulevard. An alcohol-free, pork-free kitchen must be specified before a villa is reserved.
Confidentiality
Family names, a second address and which child travels in which car are not shared with vendors. Restaurants receive time and numbers only.
For Grand Prix week 2026 (race Saturday 26 September), residences and vehicles should be requested well in advance.
